It was April 1994 and I was loving two things: (1) working at Apple, and (2) building lighting controls. My cohorts and I at Apple enjoyed building our own “nightclubs” in our homes so we could invite 300 of our closest friends and geek-out with a fully automated lighting system synchronized to the latest dance tunes.
